CALL TO ARTISTS!

We're now accepting submissions for artists for the fourth annual Music, Murals, and Margaritas 2025 festival.

Mark your calendars for the Fourth Annual Murals & Music Festival in Downtown Fernley, Nevada. We'll be staging events in the downtown corridor with live music, food trucks, community art, live painting throughout the city, and MORE.

We are currently accepting submissions for mural artists. The event will take place May 17, 2025. The selection committee will consider skill, execution, timeliness, capability, style, diversity, and individuality.

Compensation will vary depending on the wall assigned ranging from $500 - $2,000.

Please send the following:

Three to five digital jpeg images of past work, with dimensions and location.

Artist Resume/Biography

A written description or sketch of your proposed design is not required but is encouraged.

Submissions Due: January 31, 2025.

Notification to artist: Artists will be notified by February 18, 2025. Artists who are selected will be given artistic freedom to create a design in conversation with the building/business owner and or City officials. A mock-up/sketch must be submitted by March 31, 2025, and approved before painting begins.

Timeline: Artists must be in Fernley, NV on or before May 17, 2025 and work must be completed by May 18, 2025.
